The Artist
About M. Miller

With a deep passion for the American West, I create original artwork that honors the rugged beauty of Wyoming, its wildlife, and the rich heritage of cowboys and Native American culture.
My work focuses on three main subjects: portraits that capture the character and spirit of Western life, wildlife studies of the magnificent creatures that roam our lands, and scenes depicting the timeless traditions of cowboys and Native American peoples.
I work in pencil, ink, oils, acrylic, gouache, pastels, and watercolor. There are no digital shortcuts in my process. Each piece is crafted entirely by hand, bringing an authenticity and warmth that only traditional techniques can achieve.
Based in Wyoming, I draw daily inspiration from the landscapes, people, and wildlife that surround me. The American West isn't just my subject matter — it's my home and my heritage.
